The Havana Chamber of Commerce Oktoberfest Committee announced recently that beginning with the 2010 Oktoberfest there will be a new Polka Pace Race route.
Die hard PPR fans will be happy to know that many of the same amazing views and favorite features are preserved in the new route. There are a few minor changes due to the new position of the Main tent.
Look for arrows marking the pavement soon for the updated route. One key element will be that runners will now run North and South on Broadway giving spectators nearly a mile of viewing area for the race.
